Testing dates for the Johnson County Schools 2016-17 school year have been announced and are available at the link below.
Please take a look over the following information from the TN Department of Education concerning testing, and being prepared for TNReady.
Recently, the web site for Mountain City Elementary school has been updated and the web address for them has changed to http://mce.jocoed.net. A lot of people are being re-directed to the District Website when they use the old URL, so please make sure that your bookmarks have been updated and you use this new address in the future to get the latest information from MCE.
Also, The Roan Creek web site was updated a couple months ago and the correct address for it is now http://rce.jocoed.net. The older K12tn address no longer work, so once again make sure that you have the new address bookmarked for future reference.

As most of you know, the JCHS Class of 2016 will be holding their graduation ceremony on Saturday, May 14th this year. Each graduate is allowed a total of eight (8) tickets to allow family members and friends to attend. Those who are unable to attend or cannot arrive locally for the ceremony can tune in to our online broadcast that day to view the event via broadband Internet. Our intent is to start broadcasting shortly before 10 o’clock am, so please log in a few minutes early to make sure you have a good connection by using the link below:

The 2016 Johnson County Schools Staff Development Calendar has been posted to the web. Please take a look at it and sign up for the classes that you wish to participate in. They will fill up quickly, so get your requests in as soon as possible!
The Johnson County School Board sent a resolution to the State formally opposing the use of TNReady data in teacher evaluations for the 2015-2016 school year. Check out the formal resolution for more information.
